Black Sea Security
Location: Boğaziçi University, Istanbul
The inaugural conference will explore the evolving dynamics of the Black Sea region, assessing military, political, and economic security in the face of recent developments.
Morning Session
The morning session will feature an opening speech followed by a panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Karasar, bringing together two Turkish and two international experts from academia, diplomacy, or journalism.
Afternoon Session
The afternoon session will consist of individual speeches by distinguished figures, including former Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov and former Romanian Prime Minister and Defence Minister Nicolae Ciucă.
Closing Remarks
The closing speech will be delivered by former Turkish Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar, offering a comprehensive assessment of Türkiye’s security policies, role, and vision in the region.
